It was my first and last time here. The experience was very disappointing. There were mostly empty plates on the conveyor belt. The only consistent dishes coming around were edamame, watermelon and shrimp nigiri. We ordered from the screen and the food still took too long. The food we did get was good, and the servers were courteous and professional. Other than that I won't be returning and Ill just go to a regular sushi place instead.

Wild sushi restaurant from the future, robot serves drinks and you just take the sushi off the revolving bar and slide a plate through a slot and it scans what you got. Great Atmosphere!Amazing! Highly Recommend!!!

Visited Kura Sushi in SouthSide Works! Honestly, you’re coming here for the uniqueness of the experience more than anything else. The Vibe: It’s a blast watching the sushi rotate on the belt and having your drinks delivered by a robot. Ordering on the tablet is seamless, and the "express belt" that shoots your food directly to the table is always a highlight. The Food: To be fair, the food quality is just OK. It’s consistent and hits the spot if you aren't expecting a high-end sushi bar, but the Salmon Toro (pictured) was definitely a standout plate. Verdict: It’s a fun, high-tech way to grab a meal with friends or a great spot if you want a lot of variety without a long wait for service. Just go for the fun atmosphere and the novelty of the revolving plates!

Staff asked if it was our first time, which it was, then provided very little guidance. Even as someone who has seen many videos of rotating sushi bars, but has never gone to one, it's not intuitive enough to just drop customers at the table with no explanation at all. Food was good, for the context of revolving sushi bar, it's not going to beat a real sushi bar. There is though variety and the price is good though that it's still a valid alternative. Don't bother with the "wagyu"

Portions are small. A half cup of broth came with my udon. Not sure why the cup was so big for so little food. Was it worth what I paid? I got take out, but stood in the restaurant and feel the vibe. Though there was only one person seating and ringing folks, she was friendly. Atmosphere was nice. Took about 30 minutes to get my food. It tasted ok. Maybe things are better dining in. Probably won’t return. Oh, and I tipped cash so I paid close to $29 and I’m still hungry.
